I hear that the bars metal part is sucking the heat away from the grips even on the 07 bars. I have the 07 bars and they get warm after riding at a constant speed for about 10mins or so. I say warm when they are jack to full power and its 10F out. I was wondering if this would help. You know the spray in foam insulation? How about drilling a small hole and filling the bars with that to insulate them from the inside? Will it work? Trap the heat and help the bars heat up faster? Might be a stupid idea but what the hell...
