I had to straighten my handlebar right side last season on my last ride and now seems like the right side hand grip does not work. I used a pipe to straighten it by inserting the handlebar hook into the pie, could i have pinch the warmer grip and broken something electrical? I have not installed yamaheater yet hoping it will work then? Or do you guys think ill need to replace the whole grip? Is it possible to break the warmer like that?

I bet you cut the heating element under the grip.

I do not, but will order some now. Make my warmers even better with yamaheater as well. Thanks again!

Yes. That is what you need for the one piece bars with hooks. Will not work very well on a '06 with the bolt on hooks.
Pick up a set of used bars from one of the TY Advertisers. Any Apex/Vector '07 to atleast '10.
Did this to my buddy's '06 Attak.
hibshman25 usually has a couple sets of bars for sale

I found a set on ebay for 108 dollars straight bar. I'd love to be able to just buy the right side warmer wondering if I should just buy new..

77 dollars for one at my dealer. I'll try the yamaheater first to see if it is actually broken and if after heater install is not working I'll order one side for 77 dollars. Thanks guys.

Does the new oem hand warmer slider over top the handlebars or do I need to remove the rubber handle part? Seems like it goes over top of the handlebar drill out rivet and put a new one in makes my handlebar kinda bigger. Sound right?
