Friends got a 2008 apex ltx and the hand warmers quit on it. The controls work and say on the gauge that they work but there is no heat. Also the 12 volt accessorie plug also quit to. Thanks for your help.
Check fuses.

Are they on the same fuse? Would a bad visor cord plugged into the 12volt plug cause it to blow?
Not sure if on same fuse ? but a bad cord will poss blow it yes,or a short at the 12v outlet.take a look .

Ok I will check it out, I've done lots of work on my nytro but never worked on an apex before.

Same issue on 2008 vector rsgt. code 81 & orange light on dash flashs. I heard you can wire in a relay? Is that possible? If so what size, wires etc. A picture of product would be great. Also is was going get new grip warmers NOT stock though... way to much cash. Can you wire in new ones using the stock 2 black wires? Fellow sledder any advice would be great. Thanks
Get a set of RSI warmers and wire up as per their instructions.
