Shock quit on apex gt!

My electric chock quit on my apex gt. It stopped showing up on gauge when I pushed the handle bar button. I toke it to dealer and they tell me the servo motor quit on shock? I asked them if Yamaha would replace the whole shock and he told me there is nothing wrong with shock just the servo motor. Is the servo seperate from shock? I thought it was all one component. Any body have a comment?

first it is not a servo motor. it is a magnet. the broken wire can usually be repaired or yamaha service can provide the dealer with a new one. you will not get a new shock for this part.
