Wondering if anyone can tell me what the height is for the stock riser on 06 Apex ER/RTX/GT vs. what the height is for the 07? I don't have access to either year sled at the moment, and if I recall correctly the 07 and 08 riser is taller than the 06.
Thanks
Thanks

Will the 5.5 bolt right on to the 06 without mods?

The bolts go all the way through the riser, so if you get the correct bolts and the taller riser it will work.

If your spending the cash go for the mountain riser. 1 1/4 inches higher again. I have it on my 08GT and love it
06 handlebars sit taller than the 07's and up.

If you use the 06 bars with the 07+ riser, the grips will be higher than any year Apex except the Mountain version. Will not need cable extensions if you do this.

I just measured the riser with it put back togather...now it seems to measure out at 3.5 inches.
Do you measure it with the cover off or on..man this is getting goofy...lol.

Just get a 2" rox riser. There about $70. Unless the yamaha mountian riser is cheaper. The added bonus with the rox riser is you can move handlebar forward or back a little from stock angle. And yes you can still use yor stock cbls. You just have to reroute them under the chrome ring at base of riser.
