Handlebar covers for the Apex

I'd feel comfortable that because the vinyl and padding is so flexible that it would fit pretty well.
I would not do it myself tho, I love the naked look. Very motorcycle like and cutting edge style.

Actually I was thinking maybe handlebar bag, & chrome sportech hand guards. Definately would go with a taller windshield but would have to wait to see what they would offer as an access.

I like the motorcycle look; but, I would at least put a pad over the risers like the ones that Sportech and Powermadd sell for their riser blocks. It would hurt to land on the center part with no padding there.

Both the GT amd RTX that we rode in Ontario had pads on the top similar to the AC.

I was told that they are not going to come with the pads on them. They may be an acc. though.

It will have some sort of cover no one really know's yet but Yamaha, those picture's are of pre production photo/test mule model's.Still has the 05 gauge's inside the pod.

Mirrors?

Guess one wouldn't need to worry about mirrors on the Apex sleds where would you mount them, besides everything will be so small anyways!

Mirrors are a hard thing to get to work properly, and are usually reserved for touring or two up models.I like to shoulder check more than often just to see what's behind me.

Thanks to all for your replies! I also thought of what mirrors will fit, as the new venture-style mirrors do not look like they will work on the Apex windshield.

I hope they have something like the Venture mirrors for the Apex. Ran with them all year on the 05. They are the best by far of any mirror Ive ever used on a sled
