Handlebars on my Warrior tend to loosen off and tilt back down after two or three runs. Then I have to tilt them back up and tighten again, only to have them gradually drop down again. I needed to put a 2" riser in and then still need them tilted all the way forward.

Any suggestions as to how to keep them tilted up without eventually breaking the bolts? I would consider welding them in place permanently but only as a last resort.

Anybody else have this problem?

You need to knurl the curved edges of the bars better and also the hold points in the bar clamps themselves. That will lock them into place. check the factory bars where they get bolted in the clamps and you will see what needs to be done everywhere that holds the bars in place. I had to do it to my Fly Risers and Powermadd Pivot adapter to keep them from moving.

What did you find was the best tool for bringing out the ridges, something like a file or a Dremel tool??

I used a hammer and a chisel. Just made more knurl marks than what was there and deeper. I also tightened the bolts evenly and very tight.

My buddy had a problem with his Rox riser moving. I put a piece of emery cloth in it and tightened it down and it hasn't moved since. I'm sure a small piece of sandpaper would also work.
