I've done a search but have not found my problem.My sled keeps throwing the handwarmer code after about 15min of riding and then the handwarmers don't work.When you restart they work and code goes away for awhile then repeats.I've checked the wires under bar pad and in nose of sled also under tank cover by ignition.Could theheat control switch have anything to do with it?Any idea guys because it is annoying with the dashlights flashing half of time.Thanks

Disconnect the Grip Warmers and measure the resistance across each one of them. If you get infinite ohms, then you have an open circuit. Open Circuit = bad Grip Warmer.
Also, in your case, the open circuit could be intermittent. So put some pressure on the Grips and try to move them around a bit, while you are measuring the Ohms across it. You should see a steady 1-3 ohms on a good Grip Warmer.
The other thing to check would be the wiring harness down by the ECU. If the harness is chaffing on the frame, you could be seeing some intermittent shorting going on. Common problem for the '03s.
