I have a nytro here that is acting super weird.
When started cold. It will run decent. Idle at 1500. And rev up and down. But once the sled gets hot it won’t idle well and hold rpm at 4500. Every time. The only thing I can do to bring it down is shut it off.
I’ve checked throttle bodies and throttle cable. Messed with them a lot.
I’m stumped. The throttle plates close fine but it won’t come down off 4500 or idle well

any help would be great

Checked for codes? Sounds like a bad throttle position sensor.

why would it be a tps? I would think idle bypass or intake leak, but first would be sure the throttle closed fully

Nice. I love ty for this. Idle air was the problem. I stuck my thumb over the hole in the airbox and it seemed to free the valve up.

thanks everyone.
