I installed a Ulmer Phazer clutch kit on my GT. I am very happy so far with the performance of this clutch kit. Originally, my sled was running at around 11,700 rpm now it runs around 11,300. I think this is Okay????I also installed 198 bergstrom trail grabbers in the track, tunnel protectors and put yamaha mountain skis with 6" dooley on the front. Handle bar hooks and a (piss on Skidoo) sticker on the winshield. What a difference a few mods make.

what kind of handlebars did you put on?? are they homemade tunnel protectors or yamaha?
I put the pastic handle bar hooks on from sport tech (yamaha also has some in their catalog look the same). I went with the 90 degree hook. You just cut the end of the hot grip out, grind the rivet down, slip these in and tighten the allen screw. I cut a piece of hyfax in two and riveted it in to the back of the tunnel. I removed one of the bolts holding the tool box on and replaced it with a longer bolt. Seems to work fine.
On the note of hooks, I bought some made by Sno Stuff. Got them on ebay, I think the seller was "The snomobile store". Got 1 set for 35 shipped. I got the 45º to 90º bend. They have them in all different colors too.
