Hard starting 07 Attack GT

I went to my dealer and started a 2009 LTX. Temperature was 20 below, still had to crank this machine over 3 times before it ran on it's own. Obviously this must be a Yamaha trait.

I don't agree my Attack fires right up -20F runs like a hose while I wait for warm up light to go out. I don't know why yours does not but would have some concern about battery & starter life with unnecessary cranking. Try runing seafoam thru 1 tank of gas to clean up injectors. Only $10 to give it a try.

Thank you for that advice. I will try Seafoam. Right now I'm willing to try anything. I also dropped in new plugs to be on the safe side.

drian all the old fuel first and put in fresh fuel
from the pumps and a new set of plugs.

lots of problems like that this year even with sleds with stabilizer in it.

Jsut food for thought, the battery may need a charge. These sleds seem to need a battery w/enough kanookies to spin the engine quickly. My '06 Attak turned over fine but wouldn't start. I charged the battery for 1/2 hr. & presto, she fires right up now.
