06 apex stock 11000 miles. I've owned for 8 yrs. She runs great other than after I've been out riding a while, I'll pullover for a break then go to restart it and I have to keep the key turned so it will start. For a few seconds it idles real rough then it kicks up to normal idle about 1500rpm. What do you think would cause that?

Try doing a co adjustment. search co adjustment, lots of instruction. Try running a half can of sea foam on your next tank.

Maybe stator mine was doin the same, replaced stator and fires right up now

X2..... mine went out at around the same mileage, but just replaced the crank sensor
