I have brought my sled out twice within the last month to clean up and get ready for the summer. Twice now when I go to restarts the sled after a couple of min (2-4) it goes on a prolonged crank and will not start so I stop cranking after 10 sec. Next time it takes a bit then starts up. Never happened over the winter could this be due to the warm weather? Bad gas? Anyone else had this problem? Or am I just worrying about this too much? Thanks oh sled is 2015 no codes come up also. Oh one last thing, is there a flash coming out this year thought I heard something about it

This happend to me last year. It seemed to fowl up.
Best bet is to try not to start and stop it a lot during the off season.

If you don't let the sled warm up completely before shutting down you will load up the plugs. I would recommend at least 165 degrees but 195 degrees or the radiator fan kicking in will not hurt a thing.

Also think about putting a charger on your battery at least once during the summer I use an OptiMate 4 charger by TecMate, a OptiMate 1 for maintenance only, and an OptiMate 6 for larger batteries, they are automatic battery tester, desulfator, chargers, and maintainers. With 3 snowmobiles, a golf cart, a side x side, and diesel mower I just don't want to play with battery no start issues. Using these chargers I never have starting problems nor do I ever replace batteries, well OK seldom. In 2013 I finally replaced the second battery in my 2001 Venture. but it sat unused or unmaintained from 2005-2008 when I was working in Florida.

My 15ltx does the same thing in the off season, i notice it more above 50 degrees. During the winter month's it starts fine. 3200 miles and counting.

X2 on the optimate

Mine always started screwy. Cold starts, hot starts, no consistency.
I just did the evo reflash last month. I can honestly say the sled starts better now than it ever has.
Absolutely no issues starting anymore
