Which one is better in your opinion and why? Looking to go to a 144 with an 1.75 track on my 2009 fx nytro.

MUFFINWORKS!!!! Awesome quality with even better customer service. He has the tunnel extensions as well. I have bought many things from him without any issues.

Stay away from the Hartman extension. I installed one last year on my 07 Attak. Sled saw little use. When I wanted to install a longer snow flap, I removed my old Yamaha snow flap and found two large cracks starting from the corners and across the flat portion that the snow flap mounts to. The extension was less than a year old. When I explained what I had found, he said it was from misuse. I explained that was not the case and that there should be some sort of warranty. He said no and hung up on me! Great customer service. Do a search on Apex General Talk titled Hartman Extension Beware. You will be enlightened. I used the 144" extension.

We can do the rail extensions for an FX Nytro, but we don't have tunnel extensions for that chassis.

I have had lots of tunnel extensions and Im not easy on sleds.I prefer Hartman tunnel extension over tracks USA but for rail extensions use muffin works or tracksusa.

As far as the comment above that comes from backing over your snow flap tons of stock apex and attacks did the same thing.

Before you comment, you should get your facts straight. The snow flap was never backed over. I replaced the suspension with a ZX2 and the snow flap was so short and so far away from the track and mounted at such an angle that it was impossible for it to catch on the track in reverse. The extension cracked because of the weight of snow on the flap and the movement. The welder who reinforced it said it was made to be lightweight and hence not very strong. Tom Hartman even made this same comment to me just before he hung up on me.

Yours might not have been but if you do a search lots of oem tunnels cracked and buckled that way.
I have launched my sled many times 20-25 in the air as far as 50 plus feet and never damaged my tunnel extension I did mess up my oem cast piece on my tunnel but the Hartman extension was fine.

I'm just trying to help this guy out by informing him of my experience with this product.

In all fairness to all manufacturers, its one thing to ask for warranty considerations a week after purchasing this type of part, but after almost a year, that part could have 60 miles on it or it could have 6000 miles on it, and been to hell and back. You can't expect too much, I don't care who you bought it from.

I can't speak about the others but I have a TracksUSA 136" kit on my 09 Nytro and love it! Good quality and fitment.

4 winters with a 151" Hartman extension; zero issues!

Have the OFT tip rails and Hartman extension. Had the same issue with tunnel extension cracking at the snow flap. Repaired it and installed my factory snow flap support and issue was solved. You won't be disappointed, nice product.
