Has anyone installed an air/fuel gauge on their RX-1? I'd be really curious on how the gauge reads with and without the ECP filters installed. I also wonder if one would have much time to look at it but, I guess I always had time to watch my EGTs on my 2 strokes. PB

PS: Here's a link to very inexpensive version of the type of gauge I was thinking about installing.

That gauge doesn't have many LED's to sweep through from lean to rich. The problem with most A/F gauges is they use a narrow band O2 sensor which gives pretty eratic readings sometimes. I have the Autometer A/F and it is decent, but still bounces around quite a bit. When I give the turbo a long pull on the lake it gives me a nice steady reading though, and that's all I care about...

Isn't autometer the brand of the water temperature gauge a lot of us were using too?
Where does one weld the O2 sensor into the pipe? PB

Yep, there's been a few threads about the autometer guages over the past few months. On the stock exhaust I would try fit the weld bung either where the x-over is, or if there isn't room for that put the bung in one of the pipes just before the canister (under the heatshield).
