Woodys has an ad in Uncle Henry's, saying that with the power up kit you get 10 HP more plus 10 MPH more. Just wondering if anyone has tried this kit, what it consist of, plus the results of proformance in your own opinion plus is it worth the money. Thanks for any feed back!

Im pretty sure it consists of clutching with an overdrive sheath, windage plates, air box mod, and jetting. But im not positive on all, so dont hold me to it. Call Keith on Tue. he is very informative and knows his stuff.

I Have the kit in my 03 it has helped the back shift to a miniumum and does seem tohave more low to mid range. He also drops a gear on top i believe he says this doesnt hurt top end at all but does help outta the hole and it did seem to help it also has cv springs and jets replaced casue i got back all my old parts and they were in cv spring tube.It does invlove clutching springs, helix, gear, but i dont think he does windage plates i will have to check on that I would get rid of the airbox and go with filter kit IMO

windage plate go on your secondary. The use screws to attach the in the sides on the unit. The reduce the amount of force needed to spin your secondary by smothing out the surface.

Thanks Maddog! What type of performance increase can you expect with them? Are they worth it?

I use them. They are supposed to equal 3HP or so from what I heard. They can add heat to your clutch however. I just like the clean look of them.
