I talked to my dealer about my suspension issues on my 2005 RX-1. It has been there since late March waiting for parts. He said everything was in except the reinforcement parts for the rails. I can't believe it is the end of October and we are still waiting for parts. Like alot of other people, I had trouble with a broken arm, bushings, idler wheels, cracked rails, bushings, and broken remote cable. Has anybody with these same problems had their suspesion completed yet by their dealer? If so did the new arm have any zerk fittings on it? If you want to complain. Call up Yamaha customer relations at 1-800-962-7926. Then go to the warrenty service. Probably won't get the parts here any faster, but I felt better letting a little steam off.
Gordon, I'm still waiting for my dealer to call me and let me know the new wheels and rail kit are in. He said would be November. Then I can take it back to him after it had sat there all summer. Wished Yamaha had figured out a little sooner what they were going to do for the '05 owners. With any luck, it may be done before the trails open in Dec.
