All rods showed a dark area. But can put a groove in them very easily with a file. 14 motor is in and back running. Put away til fall.

Shouldn’t be on a performance shop to dictate which ones can boosted and not. Failures on both new and old are always possible. If you wanna boost up and think there is even the slightest chance you’ll turn up later, best do aftermarket rods anyway then you have eliminated the first weak link.

1700 miles on the new 2014 motor from Arctic Cat. Running great. Hurricane kit still pulls nice and has the best sound!
