Wondering if anyone else is having luck with the Hauck Fuel Accelerator. I have on on my 06 Attak and last week it was just not hitting the top end speeds that it normally does. I have called Hauck and they gave me a code to punch into it but I am wondering if anyone has anymore adustment tips.
Thanks

I just bought one. Havent put it on yet. Kinda wondering what people have for settings on their sleds. I have an airbox mod and a gutted exhaust. So Im kinda wondering the same thing. How people have liked it and if they've run into any problems, etc.
What kind of code??

Unless you have a wide band air/fuel ratio guage you have no idea what adjustments need to be made & most of the time your guessing.

The hauck fuel accelerator; or at least mine; only richens air/fuel mix. If you have stock intake then put settings at 1 which is stock settings. I have Hauck air cleaners & went with their settings, but TURK is correct that an air/fuel ratio guage is the only true way. You are better off leaving stock settings...

I think a Power Commander III would have been a better choice. There are a lot of maps being sent around here that were set up for the PCIII using a Wideband by some pretty knowledgeable people. To an extent every engine will perform different, some close to others and some will way under perform and some will over perform, so a map set-up for one sled using a wideband will not necessarily work as well on the next sled whether they are stock or have mods. The Hauck can only add fuel over the stock map but the PCIII can add or subtract fuel. For instance, I have received several maps that had 4% fuel subtracted at idle and the 2% throttle position. Anyway, I think you would have a better chance in getting a decent map (not an ideal map for your particular sled) for a PCIII unless you have an o2 sensor for your Hauck Accelerator. Good luck!!
