Same principle here as pressurizing the gas tank, but since you have the gas filled to the top, gravity will do the work for you, just takes a little longer.Convert said:Don't know about the APEX but both my RX1's used to give me trouble I've found if i open my shutoff valves and wait 20 mins they start right up!

Shut off valves, did you add them, or are you talking about something else? Don't the fuel pumps have built in valves?

Fuel pumps do have built in valves, but they're not very good. And they only stop the flow in one direction (back). A number of people have added additional shutoff valves.

Well I got it running (barely). It stumbled and I had to feather the throttle. I let go and she stalled. After it was running 30 seconds it idled fine. I'm guessing its probably fuel or plug related even though the fuel was treated.

Just fired mine up yesterday and it started like it was running a few minutes before...no issue at all.
I did nothing to it in the spring, as I start it every few weeks.
