Haydays 2021!

After not having the event last year the crowd on Saturday was huge. Every swapper and vendor told me that Saturday was an awesome sales day.

Check out this dude's swap cart. Pretty serious rig. He was on a mission. I wonder how many times he filled it up.

Even though the Yamaha display looks impressive in the pictures, it really lacked the positive vibe of the Ski Doo and Polaris displays. Way more people at both of those displays that I saw and the reps were very engaged with anyone who stopped by to look unlike the Yamaha reps.

Arctic Cat had a decent display with a pretty positive vibe and most of their remaining racers and brand ambassador's in attendance.

Haydays started as a grass drag event. These days the grass drags seem to take second billing to the swap meet and the OEM/Vendor display but there was some pretty good action on the track...

For die hard Yamaha fans Pat Hauck is an icon in Grass and Ice Drags along with Asphalt racing. His grandson Davin took 2 firsts and one second place at Haydays. The racing bloodline runs deep in their family. Kudos to the entire Hauck team.

Agreed. I was looking for SOME signs of life in there...
I stopped in that tent 4 separate times Sunday and there was hardly anyone in there and no reps talking to interested parties.
Only visiting amongst each other.

Some really cool wraps designed for the Arctic Cat Blast sleds from Arctic Insider...

I wish someone could come up with some decent wraps for the Yamaha Venom sleds. I sat on one of these sleds for the first time at Haydays and actually think that I guy could really have a "Blast" on one of these sleds. I hope to give one a try this winter. These slightly smaller sleds fit me just perfectly and I think that they would be really fun on a spirited trail ride in some tight trails.
