Joe those are nice, I have seen many with them. I tend to like the clear view though, not solid painted unless very low and out of peripheral. This is a viper windshield I use. It's a nice rigid shield.
But below -15 c it's too cold and I go back to the stock old man shield

I tried that one too. Gave me plenty of coverage on my chest but I needed the hand guards or muffs with it. I must have a medical condition of some kind, I've never had frostbite but maybe frost nip? - My hands are very often cold (even indoors) and they get cold and hurt very easy. Riding with the Doo muffs was perfect - but on milder days on just want a normal looking windshield to keep the wind off of them.
Dan - I'll give your thin glove thing a try this year too.
The grip gloves are super thin, super grip, and so you dont need to hold on tight to feel heat, its weird how they work with the heaters so good, I took advice of another on DT yrs back, and thought he was nuts when they arrived as they are so thin, but since I bought a 2nd pair so I have two pairs as I love them so much, they are tight and short.
And I run them with guards til about 10f( for a hi temp of the day) then colder days I slap on muffs and then cook, as you need to turn heaters off much of the time with muffs.lol
Thick gloves dont allow the heat to come thru and then you grip harder then tips lose circulation, and freeze.
Be sure they are BRP "grip gloves" No other glove does what these do for me, they do not get wet ever, sweat all you want they remain dry.
Backside of Grip glove, I wish I had a pic of palm, its a nice grippy palm. these get highest reviews from all i have turned on to them, lots of threads on DT last 3 seasons or so.

Those look great, I actually looked at all your pics awhile back when I was deciding what to go with.I have the Cat LED hand guards on my Viper.

Im leaning black as I like the stealth look on guards not to stand out much.
thanks!

Here is the thing...Do the Cat Handguards with the LED'S come with an on/off Switch like the Powermadd's do?? I'd like to be able to turn them off and on when I want. Instead of just having them always on. I like the look of the Cat ones too. And they look well made as well.
On my DOO, it had push button start, So on that sled I installed a switch for my LED guards. So I could turn them on trailside at night to light up trail, help with repairs to see, or just hit button for oncoming traffic to see us when stopped.
But with the SW, we have a KEY....with an ON switch. So with these YAMS I will wire my LED guards into the +12v on accessory plugin. And then when I want them on I just turn key, which turns on the stock LED Signature light below the main headlite, and also will turn on my guards. I want them on always when riding.
If you dont want them on when riding(sometimes) then you need a separate switch. While I NEEDED a separate switch on my DOO, I did not like it all that much...and I only found out after some ride time. Reason is, you will find that when you hop on and fly....you always forget to hit the switch...and then you always needs to make the extra move to turn them on. So with them connected to the key, you simply start sled and go...done.
