headlight/windshield replacement

Hello everyone. I just picked up a new '07 Apex Mtn for a screaming deal. I am putting it on a diet (front and rear Timbersled, seat, exhaust, battery, etc). I want to get rid of the stock windshield and headlight and replace it with something lightweight (similar to what Kachess has done on RX1s). Has anyone done this without replacing the entire hood? If so, please let me know how. If not, how about some ideas?

dimiond S has some sick hoods. other then that i dont know. i was gonna do the same to mine.

Thanks for the reply. I have looked at the Diamond S hoods but I don't really want to spend that much. I really just want to remove the headlight and windshield and come up with something to cover the hole. I will relocate the speedo to the handlebars and add some driving lights if I decide I need lights. Any other ideas? I may try to use an old windshield off another sled if I can find one that will work ok (with some trimming).
