Heat cracks in primary

The primary fixed sheath has cracks near the base. I know it's driver abuse from ice raceing. But has anyone had one of these blow up? I've done it with a comet clutch 2 times on my v-max 4. I'm hopeing this won't happen again with a yamaha clutch.

Cant answer that one 1xr my first yammi,but i have had them on my poos before,and they will self destruct,be careful,good luck,now would be a good time to invest in a roller or 4- post :wink:

Heat cracks

I had the problem on my Vmax-4, but not since. And my SRx's took alot of hard riding with Big Bore kits. Iwas hoping they were making them better. The good news is it retails for $79, which isn't as bad as some parts. Hope it isn't back ordered.

Do not ride it. I have read plenty about the primary cluthches exploding after cracks have appeared. Mucho damage from flying parts. Replace it now. Do not pass go.
