In the boredom of waiting for snow I look at my 2016 XTX LE every night. Tonight while looking at it I noticed some chips in the running board heat exchangers on both sides. Sled is brand new. Something I should be worried about leaking? No idea where the chips came from.

I'm no expert but they look to strictly be in the meat of the fins and should do no harm. I certainly would wonder why a brand new sled would have those? maybe it got dropped on something during assembly?

Dealers like to move them around with a fork lift. Pull up from behind with a fork on each side of the track and pick up. Could be that's where they came from. Don't like they'll do any harm though.I'm no expert but they look to strictly be in the meat of the fins and should do no harm. I thought it could be fork lifts too. Thanks for the reassurance.
