Yeah, I put one on mine when I bought it. I had problems with my Rxwarrior heating up. I put one one on that sled and it fixed the problem. Make sure you thin out your antifreeze to about 60/40, that will cause a heating problem also.

I do not know how difficult the Attak install is, but I can tell you that the Apex cooler was only about a one hour job for me.
Having a die grinder and an air rivet gun made the job quick & easy.

Simple job to do. I don't think you get protectors with the cooler. I didn't.
I went to HomeDepot and bought some Aluminum straping and square tubeing and fabricated one. I ran it for a while without protectors and had no problem. I don't have studs and run stock. I'm a big guy and thought I'd tear up the protector. I made them anyway just to be safe and I might stud them this year.

Anyone know if Pioneers is the same as the factory one that Port sells? Any difference? Price seems to be the same.

My Apex rear heat exchanger from Pioneer was a genuine Yamaha part. I see Bruce has raised the price on the heat exchangers since when I bought mine last year.
The Apex rear heat exchanger went from $81.95 to $129.95 and the Attak rear heat exchanger went from $169.95 to $199.95. Still well worth the extra peace of mind IMO.
