Hello. I choosed between a Ski-Doo Renegade 600 SDI and a Yamaha RS Rage and finally decided to ride a Yamaha this winter. I live in Sweden and the Rages are already sold out here!!! Yamaha didn´t expect such a RS-boom in Sweden. So right now I´m very happy. I just have a question to all RX-owners. Do the seat get warmer because of the exhaust pipes going under the seat? Should be good in that case or...?

I agree the seat is definatly noticably warmer than other sleds.

My pants melted it got so hot. Yamaha warrantied the seat because it melted and they gave me a gift certificate to buy some new snow pants.

You ptobably won't notice the heat in the seat unless you ride when the temperature gets above freezing. Then the seat starts to get fairly hot. I have to stop about every 15 minutes and put snow on the seat to sit on.
