Does anyone know where I can get aftermarket heated grips for the Apex hooked handlebars?

If the grips work and you are unhappy with the heat they produce, I suggest the Yamaheater. They are a great upgrade, and well worth the $.

you can buy a up-grade from yamaha comes in a kit it is made by RSI
You can buy the same "upgraded" hand warmer kit that Yamaha sells for $100, from Dennis Kirk for half the money. I put them on my 08 Nytro and work well. Search the Fx Nytro pages, there are many good threads on there about this subject. The kit is from RSI, and you will need new grips also.

i would skip replacing the grips, had a buddy who just went through the the whole sordid experience(sordid because he doesn't listen well)of replacing his grip warmers.just buy the yamaheater and be done with it.rock has probably more knowledge about the yamaha electrical system than any tech i've run into lately.thanx rock for your insite,you were spot on;multi sled
