Where are you hooking up your heated shields on the nytros, someone had mine hard wired to battery and it melted the wires. I believe this setup would work with a fuse but what size fuse is needed?

If you have a 12v accessory plug then the easiest way is to buy the male plug with the RCA adaptor on the end. Can't remember now where I got mine.

I would rather hard wire it up. I bought 3 adapters in 3 yrs for my apex they wear out and pop out all the time.

yep...if you ride hard...the male 12v plug wont stay...

wire it to the battery with a inline fuse as close to the battery as possible...a 5 amp for the thinner wires is a good choice with I guess at a 10 amp max.... never had any problems on mine..

I would get a BV2S or Mod 2 Helmet and get rid of the cord. I'm using my new BV2S for the 1st time and it's both warm and comfortable. Oh yeah, it doesn't fog either! One of the guys I'm with right now has a brand new mod 2 and is as happy as I am. I prefer the looks of the mod 2 but prefer the adjustabilty of the BV2S.

I have a bv2s and occasionaly still frost...Ive now got the elec for it..

Mine did once today until I tightened the mask then all was good. Colder than hell up here too.
