Looking for some feedback on the heel clicker clutch setup. I think it's sometimes called the dragon fly?

I have been using these weights in a variety of sleds and manufactures and I think no other weight pulls as hard. I have put them in everything from a 2005 Rage to a 190 turbo Viper. My buddy runs them in his 240 hp Turbo Cat with great results. The Flies cured his belt wear problems in that Cat. I have probably bought 12-15 sets over the years. Of the many different sleds I have tried them in the only one we didn't find good results with was the Polaris FST.
The only problem is that because of the harmonics of the three cylinder Yamaha engine they will flat spot the weight in those applications after some time. The power output depends on the time it will take to flatten it. My stock Nytro the weights started to flatten after @3500 miles. In my turbo 190 Viper it took about 2000 miles. My Rage flattened the stock weights @5500 miles. I replaced them with Draggin-Flies. The stock weight does the same thing so I don't believe the weight is entirely at fault.
They are very tunable and may take some time to dial in depending on your acceptance of what " dialed in " is. I am constantly looking for the perfect set up so I may tinker more than most but friends have run the same set up in Attacks , Nytros and XCR 800's for thousands of miles with great results.
Bottom line is I have tried many other styles of weights and keep coming back to the Draggin-Flies because of the way they pull and are easy on belts.
This gets me to thinking...if I had all the money I spent on clutch parts over the years, I could probably buy a new sled!!!!!!!!

Awesome feedback... When you say they flat spot the weights does that just mean you end up replacing the weights over time?
Also what specifically are the dragging flies? Are these different weights?

Yes, after they get flat you buy new weights. Randy at super torquer will sell you just the weight He is aware that the Yammi 3 cylinder like to flat spot weights over time.. You can feel the difference in the clutch shift when they start to get flat.
I may try some kind of hardening process before next year.
Turk used these weights with success and knew A LOT more than I about clutching.
Scott at BOSS performance in Manitoba also had some killer set ups for these weights but he hasn't been heard from in a while.......

I have used d and f weights since Randy came out with them actually flat spotted two sets saw Randy at novi show he replaced them twice no charge great person to deal with
