I was wondering if any one has tried one of those helmet heaters (not visor heaters), and do they help prevent fogging of glasses and the shield. It would be nice to not have to put the contacts in before riding.

heated lenses

Along the same line, has anyone ever heard of either prescription googles or prescription glasses with lenses that are heated to prevent fogging. I think you could make a fortune if these could be developed.

Perscription Glasses

No, but i Had a pair of Scott goggles for skiing, that had a battery operated fan that worked very well.
Now I have had lasik surgery, so no more glasses except for Sunglasses. So much nicer.

I was going to reccomend contacts, but I guess the laser surgery would be even better yet. My contacts don;t bother me at all so I haven't bothered to get it yet-plus the price keeps coming down and I keep blowing my money on sleds.
