Thank you whits-end and reX for the great info. I opned the link and printed off the instructions. i will attempt this procedure early next month. I repost and let you know how it goes. This is why i visit this site every day. Great people keeping our great sport going and flowing with up to date and real life info...

ps...I have three boxes of new stuff sitting in my garage for my 03 Silver LE shorty...One box is a brand new Boss High Rise Seat (silver and red)I ordered last spring after my last ride on the stocker...I installed an M-10 last year, but needs to be set to a stiffer setting, 3.5' ROX riser, 05 mtn throttle cable and choke cable, red chrome windshield from the vector or attack forgot which one fit, red skid plate, red ski loops, red yami snowflap, and the red sticker kit from a 06 vector, and finally 144 studs with red backers. see the theme here?

any thoughts?

Hey whits-end...one last questions pertaining to clutchung and I have posted this in the past. Looking for your opinion though...

I love how my stock clutch performs during take off, but I do not like how it back shifts...I am sure you are aware that the back shift is very extreme and can be a bit dangerous at high speeds in the form that if you are standing it can put you over the front of the machine. What can I do to the stock set up to adjust for a more comfortable and slower back shift? Thanks in advance...I just got htis sled in January of 06 and only had one 1 three day ride on it 550 miles...still learning about it....
