Help
Trying to order parts for my attak. I busted the left hand side as your sitting on it A-arms. Last time it was the right hand side. Does anyone make better A-arms? These bent when I was going only 5-10mph and my carbide bit on some wood and stopped.

I need to know how you can tell which part number is the right one for color and side? Its a blue attak.
Fiche is below.

Upper a-arm #27 27 FRONT UPPER ARM COMP UR FOR DPBMC
8FR-23540-30-00
or
27 FRONT UPPER ARM COMP UR FOR DRMK
8FR-23540-10-00

Lower A-arm
36(L) 36 FRONT LOWER ARM COMP UR FOR DPBMC
8ES-23570-30-00
36 FRONT LOWER ARM COMP UR FOR DRMK
8ES-23570-10-00

60(R)
60 FRONT LOWER ARM COMP UR FOR DPBMC
8ES-23580-30-00
60 FRONT LOWER ARM COMP UR FOR DRMK
8ES-23580-10-00

You will have to contact your dealer and asked them if they are painted or primed. I am guessing.

Like the old trailing arms, you could get them primed or painted w/stickers to match the year. Cost was doubled to match. But the stickers were pretty expensive.

Did you check your bulkhead closely for cracks?

Place an ad in the classifieds, you might find a nice used set.

These come painted I got the right side ones last year. I just want to figure out what the fiche references as left and right and what is the color code for blue vs red.

Honestly, I would talk to Kevin at Port Yamaha (contact info in the vendor section). Kev is brilliant at sorting out parts issues..awesome nice guy too.

Yeah when you got you and your sled coming to an immediate halt, that 700+ pounds of momentum will unfortunately bend something.

One time crossing a rr track years ago, I had a tiny sharp leading edge of a carbide catch on the track and it bent the whole right side of the suspension.

So now what I do with all wearbars and carbides is take em over to the bench grinder and bevel any sharp leading edges

DPBMC = Deep Purplish Blue Mettalic C

DRMK = Deep Red Metallic K
