I will always remember my first time..... first RX1 oil change that is. Now I know why some of you relocated the battery. So... where the heck is the fricken oil galley bolt? To check oil pressure? This is going to make me start drinking...... more. Please help, Thank you

I don't know why they even say anything about it in the manual. We scratched our heads over that one too.

The bolt is on the left side at the back (above the exhaust). Basically, forget about it. Don't bother with it. Not required.

Like kmer said, I just checked the low oil pressure light on the guage to make sure it quit flashing indicating that the oil pressure was good. Just like on a car.

Thanks guys, I am going to start it. I Think 1xr is correct that the oil light we have is a oil level warning light. Maybe I'll add a pressure gauge.

I also think it is strange too about checking the oil pressure using this method after a simple oil change.
Do you think this is more in reference to a complete tear down of the engine and this step is to verify pressure after a tear down?

They have the same instructions on my sons Warrior ATVs ands dealer said forget it he never does it.
