Hi newbie here to this forum.
I need some help with my sons 2004 TTR225.
My son and I pulled his bike out to start it up to warm it up. Then we were going to change the oil and spark plug, and so on. Went to start the bike and it wouldn't. Check the plug and had no spark.
Proceeded to take seat and and tank off to check wiring. Found nothing out of the ordinary. I used my volt meter on the coil and found when the hot wire is off the coil I get 2.5 volts and when it on the coil less than a 1/2 volt.
If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.

When was the last time the bike ran???? How old is the Gas??
EDIT: Sorry I didnt see read were you said you have no spark....
