help rear shock adj

i took out the rear skid on a 06 apex and the cable pulled out of the adjuster on the side of the tunnel. what do i have to do so it goes in the right spot so the adjuster reads what the shock is really at?

Take a small screwdriver and turn the adjuster on the shock all the way in until it bottoms. Then turn your adjuster knob to full hard and reinstall the cable. These are the instructions I got from Bruce Schrader when I had my Mono revalved. Gives you the largest amount of adjustability.
