sons phazer is popping in and out of gear while under power, causes drive light to flash, no codes. What’s the problem?? Anyone have a fix? Phazer gurus out there, any help would be appreciated. Tuck wants to ride!!!

Only thing that come to mind is loose chain in gear case or the track is so loose it’s ratcheting.
I’ve never hear of that problem.

When under power, does it make a thunk thunk thunk noise, almost like an impact wrench? If so, it could be the reverse gear box is damaged and the dog gears aren't engaging properly. This thread may help:
