Need some input into what needs to be done to convert a 121 to a 136 besides rail extensions and new track. Mainly interested what needs to be done with springs shock valving, etc.
Those that converted a 121 to a 136 how did the handling characteristics change? I love my 136 attak but really not completely happy with the mono and when the new Yamahas are released I may want to convert a 121 to a 136.

Do it! I converted a '05 RX-1 to a 136". Totally transformed the sled. It handles bumps much better now. When it was a 121" I ran the shock full stiff. Now I run about 2 clicks short of full soft. It doesn't seem to push in corners. But, I also put a set of Simmons on it too. I got everything from Hartman. Others on the site have dealt with Tracksusa.
