im looking for alittle help with tuning the PC5 on my 08 nytro. maybe alittle info on what a stock fuel map looks like before the pc5 mods the signal. ( to help me understand why the numbers in my ulmer racing map are the way they are. all my mods are listed in sig. i have a "pop" around 1/4 throttle when accelerating. i have modded the ulmer map and have made the pop alot less,... but still not perfect.

Have you contacted ulmer racing?
That's the first thing I would do, great to deal with!

allen at Allen "Ulmer racing" is who sent me the map that i have. after doing some "tuning" on my own today i got it to run better. although it did still have the " lean pop" when mildly smashing the flipper. after 3 times of richening specific areas of the map i had it feel better "by the seat of my pants" after the second time i noticed the status light was not blinking red while running ( didnt notice on the first half ) but then tonight when i started the sled up to put back in the garage the status light was back to blinking. it blinks while the fuel pump is priming, then stops, then after starting it, it continued blinking.

If you are looking for info on why the numbers he sent you are the way they are, he is the best to ask. That was why I suggested you to contact him. Im sure if you told him what was going on he would steer you in the right direction.dngrrngriv said:allen at Allen "Ulmer racing" is who sent me the map that i have. after doing some "tuning" on my own today i got it to run better. although it did still have the " lean pop" when mildly smashing the flipper. after 3 times of richening specific areas of the map i had it feel better "by the seat of my pants" after the second time i noticed the status light was not blinking red while running ( didnt notice on the first half ) but then tonight when i started the sled up to put back in the garage the status light was back to blinking. it blinks while the fuel pump is priming, then stops, then after starting it, it continued blinking.

Sorry I caught this late, but the "stock map on a pcv is a all "0" map, that is no changes, sled is running on it's own mapping. Any changes to the stock map, are numbers you see on the pcv map, either negative numbers (leaner than stock), or positive numbers (richer than stock).
