"Herky jerky" is how my brother described the way my warrior felt when accelerating on softer freshly groomed trails or on loose snow in general, excluding powder. It feels alot like when the hyfax stick riding in low snow conditions. First noticed it on a freshly groomed rail road grade. Doesn't do it on hardpack trail/lake or roads with light snow/ice base. You actually feel your upper body rock back and forth too. The harder you accelerate, the more body movement and "herky jerkiness". I tried to see if the RPM's raised and dropped when I feel the movement, but I couldn't tell if they were or not.
Could it be that the track is just breaking and then re-hooking up while running on that type of snow? Never experienced it before...on any sled. Thanks!
By the way my bro rides a Rev 600 HO and I could run him over on my warrior on the tight trails if I wanted to. Both of us have about equall riding skills and about 20 years riding experience. Says alot for the warrior as a trail sled when ridden hard and set up right.
Oh yeah, rode the 05' RX1 and Vector on some bumpy trails and lakes and the new suspensions ride like nothing I have ever riden from Yamaha. Try em' out if you can.

I get the same thing every once and a while. There is some rpm fluctuation but it is the track breaking loose and hooking up again. Seems to me anyways.
