Hey my main man Freddie, 2 guys from my posse just ordered the new 3 cylinder Yamaha's and they were wondering if you plan to do a ECP kit for them. These 2 guys have already riden my sled and noticed the huge improvement your kit made to the 4 cylinder so they are really curious to see if you have plans to do something to the 3 cylinder. ----Cubby

Cubby...yes, I have plans on trying to put something together as soon as I am presented with a sled to prototype on in the shop.

With this type of thing comes an "evolution" of sorts. I need someone to step forth and allow me to take their sled and use it as a test bed to develop the Air Kit. If anyone wants to be the guinea pig, let me know.

Man I wish you were closer to me, I'm sure I could get you one of those 2 sleds I talked about. Maybe if I bring you mine in like July, you could have a month with it and we might have the 3 cylinder in stock to bring to you when we pick up mine. ----Cubby

One thing I would like to comment on:

When I first dynoed my first RX1, I realized that the stock torque curve had a very "offending" look to it...especially for a CVT style driveline. My goal was to improve these "offending" areas and that is exactly what we accomplished I am happy to say. If the new 3 cylinder does not have as bad or no offending areas, then an Air Kit for the model may become a moot point. I need one in the shop with enough mileage on it to do some good dynoruns. This presents a problem in that, how does anyone get enough miles on their sled when winter is pretty much over?...especially in and around our area.

I will address this as soon as I am able to.

Freddie
