I have only seen the high jacker, never heard of any other options. I LOVE mine and he even sent me a free replacement base mount nipple when I lost mine.

Last year I came across a guy nose down in the bottom of a creek bed (no water). I guess that he would have been in for up to an hour or more of digging. Between the two of us and the jack he was out in less than 15 with almost no physical exertion. He said that he would be ordering one when he got home.
When the sled is parked I use the jack to keep the weight off of the track, so it is in use the whole off-season as well.
I always haul my sled in the back of my pickup, rather than unloading it whenever I get home I just leave the sled in the truck most of the winter. The jack, while placed on the ground, is tall enough to lift the track off of the bed of the truck while everything is parked waiting for the next trip.

Check out the website/video.....just universally mounts to the side of any sled.
I think it looks like a great idea/product.......if you ride in area's that only get 6 feet of snow or less. Unfortunately we don't even start riding until we get 6 feet or more.

Mounts along the TOP SIDE/vertical plane of the tunnel, don't even know it's there.
Can't imagine why one would mount it under the running boards, if your buried there is no way to get at the jack???

Why? it is further out of the way. If I were to put it where the manuf suggests I would DEFINITELY notice it. Usually no problem getting it out but, yes, occasionally I have to scoop some snow out of the way, no big deal. Maybe I just don't bury myself as much as the next guy? I always get off of the gas before I get too deep, I thought that is what everybody did.
