The DDM Kit I got was 55watt. I was told by some people that they are much brighter. I didn't notice much difference between Rocz 35 and the 55watt DDM. What you will find is that the ballast are about over twice the size and much harder to find a good place to mount. This is the biggest difference. All the Plug ends look almost identical.

55w kit also. 6 years of riding not worried about a failure. I took them off one year mid trip in Quebec because one went dark but that turned out to be a weak battery. It was crazy cold that year.

I had a DDM kit and every other time I would start the sled one or both of the lights wouldn't turn on. I would have to shut the machine off 2-3 times to get them both to work again. Maybe I had a dud but it was annoying to say the least. Some people have good luck with them some don't. Never pursued the issue because I sold the sled to buy my Sidewinder.

That's a symptom of not having a relay and running off of the stock small wiring.I had a DDM kit and every other time I would start the sled one or both of the lights wouldn't turn on.
