Have been looking around for hid kits for my attack. Anybody now where to get hid kit at a good price?

X4 I had no experience with HID's prior to buying his kit. Installation was simple, and the one time I had a question (while on a trip, later at night) I got an email reply within 20 minutes

I just want to now if anybody has had problems with this kit like on trail? Just dont want any issues with lights not working in middle of no where.

keep your old bulbs in what ever you use to pack your gear, if a balast/bulb goes out just swap the old ones back in

I have apexcones and ones from ddm, have zero failures over the years. there i nothing complicated about them. 2 wires to the battery or switch, your choice and plug in everything else. go with 4 or 5000 bulbs. If your using it on a 2 stroke with no battery, wire in a snowbungy battery or just a regular sled battery wired to your smoothing coils to keep it charged. do a search, there are many on here that have installed many versions. And yes, you can just keep your old bulbs tied up somewhere inside the sled if your worried. they can be plugged back in about as quick as you can get to your headlight.
you may want to check out the led bulbs, they are coming leaps and bounds. Still watching to see some spread patterns and distance comparisons.
They are worth buying though, I have them in all my vehicles and my sled. will put them in everything till I find something better.

Kurt is the best! I have his Sled Start & HID kit. Both are quality units with easy plug & play installation with the best customer service in the business.

Just purchased hid kit from kurt. Good guy to deal with.

You are going to really be impressed when you drive your sled at night for the first time with the HID headlights. It is literally a "night & day difference"!

I'm going with the Sled Start HID kit for a couple of reasons...it's an easy, plug n play set up, and you can buy it through Yamaha which in my eyes means they approve it... ;)!
