Mine broke off and I couldn't be happier! It still works with a fingertip poke, but isn't hanging out to get caught on anymore!

for me it was not just the button that broke on the dimmer switch. a plastic piece broke inside the switch as well which stopped the spring from locking into place between high and low beam. I was stuck in high beam and could not click back into low beam. The dealer told me he can get the button seperatly but anything else inside the switch you had to change the whole assembly.

I noticed mine fell out as well. Is the button just held by the rubber? If so I may want to order several.

Anyone have any luck with searching for the parts? I have searched a couple dealers and the numbers don't come up.

If you are referring to the parts numbers for the switches / buttons, they are somewhat new so they may not be on/in most dealer sites.

Ordered one from Port Yamaha. They have them in stock. The dimmer button runs about $6 and the kill button runs about $9.

Anyone install one yet? I cannot figure out the button is installed. Any pointers?

after you take the main plastic piece off the left housing, unscrew the philips screws on the inside edge of the button housing, pull the part out that was held on by the screws, the button or whats left of it should now pull straight out and you will then see how it is held in there
You may just have a small piece broken off in the switch it self

I just ordered one from Yamaha in Yorkton for $12 cnd. The guy selling them on ebay is a member here and he wants $30 shipped, pretty steep price so you might as well just order one. The above number is the correct one to order the dimmer switch.
