The headlight on my wifes Vector ER is stuck on high beam. Hitting the button does nothing to click the light back to low beam. I have check the switch and wiring evrything seems ok. I am open to Suggestions. I really dont want to bring the sled back to the dealer if I can help it

Take the wires of the switch and do a continuity test with a volt meter.

Actually I ride with mine on high beam all the time during the day. If you don't ride at night it's not a problem. It sounds like a faulty switch. I would take it back to the dealer. It's a new sled and you have warranty.
If you tapped into the wires in the handle bar area for a heated shield, that can cause it. Otherwise the headlight relay sounds stuck. The wiring on this Hi-Low curcuit is very unique. Use a schematic and work carefully. A short could be causing the Hi Beam relay to stay closed.

i would bring it to a dealer and they should fix it for ya, and it'd save u time and money replacing some wire that u stripped and snipped cuz u were tryin to figure out the problem, to make it a short story, ur probably gonna end bringin it down there anyways!!

THe sled only has 7 miles on it, so I am taking it back to the dealer. hopefully he can fix it asap as we are expecting snow in the northeast tonight and tomarow
