So been trying to sell my 08 anniversary nytro with 136" extension on it and haven't had any luck selling it to buy a viper, so I think I'm just gonna spend a little money on it instead of giving it away. What does the hindle exhaust, efi controller and air filters run in price and where do you buy them in the states? Also looking at installing the grizz gusset, be lucky so far and if I'm keeping it I don't wanna push my luck any further, and how difficult is the install on this. Not sure if it's worth spending this kinda money on this sled, but with all the viper issues don't really wanna go through that either. So I'll spend more on a sled that is worth less makes sense to me

I am guessing you can buy that kit through Ulmer racing in the States. His kit is similar to Hurricane other than his own mapping and uses K+N filters. Install on this kit is pretty straight forward. They come with clear instructions. I think I paid $1200 Cdn for mine (somewhere around there for the Hurricane kit). You will need to buy a clutch kit also. Once you have everything installed, your sled will rock the house.

The Grizz gusset kit is a must have....it saved my arse this winter and my subframe survived a severe impact. Any welding shop can do it for you. You can either take the subframe out...which isn't all that big of a deal if you are sort of decent at wrenching. You can also have it welded with the subframe still intact to the sled, but I prefer it out.

The grizz gusset is not a big deal at all. I installed mine while the subframe was still on the sled because I wanted to ensure the shocks were in the right position between the A-arms. I just took all the plastic off and then took it to the welding shop. Saved me butt this year on the first trip out.

Make sure you get a clutch kit when you install the performance upgrades. Without it you will be hitting the limiter. Even with the clutch kit installed you may have to do some changes to the weights. Once you get it dialed in, it works AWESOME.

Hurricane is right near the border and ships to the US all the time, therefore you can purchase his kit directly through him with no hassles...price as listed is $1299. Ulmer has sold Hindle products as well, not sure on his pricing in a kit form, you'd have to ask him.....both of them are top notch guys with excellent customer service and will get you dialled in.

Works good, but I think it can be better, with more tuning

I was expecting you to comment! I think it hauls A$$ good enough now! lol

I just upgraded to a supercharger so I will be selling my full Hindle exhaust. PM me if you're interested. I bought it new last year and have a little over 500 miles on it. it was definitely an performance upgrade but after riding turbocharged sled I couldn't resist upgrading.

I would run the Hindle exhaust with the supercharger...it will flow way better than the stock exhaust

I spoke with Matt at MPI and he told me they weren't seeing that much more improvement over the stock exhaust with the SC. I do love the sound of the Hindle exhaust so that would be missed. I think I am going to put stock back on and give a fellow member a chance to buy a really nice exhaust at an affordable price. I know I had a hard time talking myself into paying for a new one!

You can contact Marine Specialists in Fenton Michigan for Hindle exhaust and any mods. Their number is 810-629-1299.
