It came in Friday, just like you said. Glad to have my sled back. There is deffinately a difference between the old collector and the new one.
Thanks Again Dave!

Looks like I have joined the club. Less then 1500 miles on the system when it went.
Mine was purchased before last season so it should have been the newer style if those have been in play for 2 seasons!?!?

I looked at my mileage again, I had it wrong. It blew out after about 1100-1200 miles.

Revster:
I am running the Excell Vector header and a Yoshi Carbon Fiber Muffler. Figured the CF muffler wouldn't take the ice chunk pounding so I installed the deflector pictured below.
Although only 400km's so far, I can say this: ice build up is pretty much non existant, and it doesnt leak very much ice/snow/slush onto the top (outside) of the tunnel.
Not sure if this would help the cracking of the Hindle header, but at least its wouldn't see as much direct contact between ice/snow/slush and a very hot header pipe, and that should help.
OTM

My system has the collector like you just received, it does look like it's beefed up!
I wonder how many people have not had an issue with their exhaust? Seems only 3 or 4 right now.
