Mine whent as high with the 24 gear, but it was lower in the midrange and cruising. And took a little longer to get to 11 100 RPM... But its a cheap fix that you will probably like... ne need for a smaller gear, the ATTAK is strong enough..

This whole idea is odd to me..
BBY told me to switch to a 23 top gear on my GT to gain top end..
Seems to me the apex is geared too high.. even the 07s are running a 22 top gear according to the site!

iT'S THE FRONT GEAR SO LIKE A 10 SPEED BIKE: bigger in front, means higher speed, smaller in back means faster rotations in back...and also more rotations so bigger top speed...

Yeah but I' m hitting the cutoff at 11 200 RPM, so it got too much power... even with softest spring... And if you go over 10 700 RPM, you lose power max HP is 10 700... So doesn't seem usefull to over rev 10 700...

Yes, only the RTX is going to a 22 tooth top gear. Viper34 said it will only lose 2.3mph on top end compared to the GT, based on conditions.
The way to cure your rpm's is by clutching not gearing.I would keep the 23 in and add some tip weight to the clutch you probaly will pick up a little speed.

That was the stock weight, and couldn't get it heavier... then got heel clickers, and since no flat section in the middle of the weight, goes higher at first then back down to 10 500 getting closer, but should grind it in the middle I think...
