I was reading on there web site that there carb springs can increase RPM's by as much as a thousand
Is this true?
Has anyone experienced this? :ORC

I gained a couple hundred RPMs - throttle response seemed a little better, but that may have been in my head.

I never noticed a gain but I did notice subtantially better response from the throttle. Worth the $$ for sure.

Holtzman springs
My bro and I raced on packed trail last weekend. I beat him both times. He has an 04 RX1 and I have an 04 RX Warrior. His is clutched, studded and had a few other things done. Mine is stock except for Holtzman springs. Who got more bang for their buck? And I gained a few hundred RPM's after putting in the green springs.

So what is it that the springs do to make your machine work better?

The Holtzman springs allow the carb slides to open fully on wide open throttle.

Re: Holtzman springs
The springs work best when combined with K&N Filters when there's no vacuum.
No offense but you didn't beat him because of the springs but because you have better hook up with the Warrior.ToddMeister said:My bro and I raced on packed trail last weekend. I beat him both times. Re: Holtzman springs
I had a stock 121" RX-1 and I'd race a warrior and loose almost everytime, and I have green springs. Like Mighty said...It's the added hook-up of the 136" ripsaw. Now that I have a 136" and an otherwise stock sled, I wonder? But they may be more of a placebo at this point. Sometimes I forget I even have them.
